Integrations
An integration creates request context and executes built procedures over a transport. Build the router once, export its metadata, then pass the executable Procedures to the adapter.
| Integration | Transport | Setup |
|---|---|---|
| Axum | HTTP queries and mutations, optional WebSocket subscriptions | Mount rspc_axum::endpoint under a path such as /rspc. |
| Tauri | Tauri v2 IPC | Install tauri_plugin_rspc::init and use a matching client protocol. |
| Actix Web | No adapter in the checked rewrite | Keep the older compatible stack or implement an adapter. |
Use core and adapter crates from the same source revision. The quickstart pins one revision and includes a complete Axum server.
Create context
The adapter's callback constructs the context consumed by your procedures. Put shared resources behind cheap cloneable handles such as Arc, and add verified request data such as a user session. Context creation is transport-specific; resolver logic need not be.
Custom integrations
See HTTP for the wire protocol and internals for executing procedures directly. A custom adapter must handle decoding, errors, streaming, cancellation, and response serialization. Forwarding a path to a resolver is only one part of that work.
